Plaza was the first casino to be featured in my Casino Spotlight series, and now it's time to shine a light on Santa Fe Station, the second casino in the lineup. These two fabulous establishments share a common thread that makes them stand out from the rest: they both offer the thrilling game of Full Pay Joker Poker. At Santa Fe Station, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of excitement and entertainment, where the possibilities are endless and the fun never stops. And with the allure of Full Pay Joker Poker, your chances of striking it big are even greater. So, whether you're a seasoned gambler or just looking for a night of thrills, Santa Fe Station promises to deliver an unforgettable experience that will leave you wanting more.

Located in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley, near North Rancho Road and US 95, Santa Fe Station stands as one of the most beloved casinos in the area. It has captured my heart as one of my personal favorites. This exquisite establishment is proudly owned by the renowned Station Casinos.

At Santa Fe Station, you'll stumble upon an expansive casino floor that will leave you in awe. With approximately 2,400 slot machines, 39 thrilling table games, a dynamic 14-table poker room, a lively bingo hall, an exciting sportsbook, and a relaxing keno lounge, there is no shortage of entertainment options for players of all kinds. But the fun doesn't stop there. This remarkable establishment offers an array of non-gaming amenities that cater to every taste. Take a break from the action and catch the latest blockbuster at the impressive movie theater, or test your skills at the bowling alley. And when hunger strikes, you'll be spoiled for choice with over a dozen restaurants, each offering a unique culinary experience. Santa Fe Station truly goes above and beyond to ensure that their guests have a truly unforgettable time.

Extensive array of video poker games, all guaranteed to be 100% authentic and enjoyable.

Santa Fe Station is my go-to casino in the Las Vegas market when it comes to playing video poker. The reason behind this preference is that I consider it to be the top-notch establishment for this particular game. What sets it apart from other casinos is the fact that it houses a whopping 17 full pay video poker machines, providing an extensive range of choices for players like myself. Among these options, I find Deuces Wild to be the most favorable with a remarkable return rate of 100.76%. However, my personal preference lies with Joker Poker, which offers a slightly lower but still impressive return rate of 100.65%. In addition to these two, Santa Fe Station also offers a variety of other enticing options such as Double Bonus, Loose Deuces, and Double Double Bonus, each featuring their own unique return rates ranging from 100.17% to 100.07%.

Quarter denomination games can be found throughout the area, with Double Bonus and Double Double Bonus even offering half-dollar and dollar options. To earn a Boarding Pass point, players need to put in $12 worth of coins on these machines, which are affiliated with the Station Casinos players club. Interestingly, utilizing your card on these machines appears to adversely affect the distribution of free play mailers.

I stumbled upon a wide array of gaming machines, roughly twenty-four in total, all of which boast an impressive payout percentage of up to 99.8%. What makes these particular machines even more enticing is that they not only offer full points but also qualify for multiplier days, enhancing your chances of scoring big wins. The selection available is quite diverse, ranging from the ever-popular Triple Bonus Plus with a payout percentage of 99.8%, to the intriguingly named Not-so-ugly-deuces with a slightly lower but still impressive 99.73% payout. If that's not enough, you can also try your luck with Bonus Poker Deluxe, guaranteeing a 99.64% payout, or go for the classic Jacks or Better, ensuring a solid 99.54% payout. To cater to different preferences, these machines accommodate various denominations, including quarters, half-dollars, and dollars. So, whether you prefer to play it safe or go all-in, there's a machine that suits your betting style.

A highly recommended bar game is 8/5 Bonus Poker (99.17%), which comes with an exciting progressive feature.

Boarding Pass

At Santa Fe Station, we employ the Boarding Pass players card, a key component of the extensive Station Casinos system. By utilizing this card, our valued players have the opportunity to earn a remarkable 0.3 percent in various forms of rewards, such as cash back, complimentary services, or even free play on the majority of our thrilling machines. Honoring our active players, we ensure they receive exclusive mailers packed with enticing incentives, including additional free slot play, exciting table game bets, point multipliers to amplify their rewards, tantalizing food comps, and remarkable hotel offers that guarantee a truly unforgettable experience.

Table Games

At Santa Fe Station, you'll find a spacious table game pit boasting an impressive collection of 39 tables. The majority of these tables are dedicated to the beloved game of blackjack, with the double deck variation reigning supreme in terms of popularity. Typically, the minimum bet hovers around $5, although during the busiest hours, it may rise to $10. If you prefer a slightly different challenge, fear not, for there is also a six-deck blackjack option available. Both versions of the game allow for double down both before and after splitting, ensuring ample strategic opportunities. It's worth noting that at Santa Fe Station, blackjack pays out at an enticing 3-2 ratio. For those who opt for the six-deck game, an additional perk awaits in the form of a surrender option. Lastly, it's important to mention that regardless of the game you choose, the dealer will consistently hit on soft 17 across all the blackjack tables at Santa Fe Station.

Additionally, players can enjoy single deck and Free Bet Blackjack options, featuring a payout of 6-5 for a natural hand.

At Santa Fe Station, you'll find a wide range of $5 table games to enjoy. From Pai Gow Poker and roulette to craps and Three Card Poker, there's something for everyone. If you're feeling lucky, try your hand at High Card Flush or Ultimate Texas Hold'em. And for those who prefer a fast-paced game, Four Card Frenzy is sure to keep you entertained. Keep in mind that roulette at Santa Fe Station follows the double zero format, while craps offers ten times odds. Plus, here's a little insider tip: the Field bet pays double on 12. So gather your friends, grab a seat at one of these exciting $5 table games, and let the good times roll.

Sportsbook

In 2016, the sportsbook underwent an impressive remodel, resulting in a modern and inviting space. With a grand total of 259 seats, patrons can comfortably enjoy their favorite sports events in this state-of-the-art establishment. A remarkable feature of this sportsbook is its colossal wall of televisions, stretching an impressive 96 feet wide. This massive display ensures that every game, match, or race is easily visible from any vantage point within the sportsbook's premises. Additionally, customers can conveniently process deposits and withdrawals for the STN Sports betting app at this location, making it a one-stop-shop for all their sports betting needs.

Poker Room

I frequent the Santa Fe Station poker room, which boasts a total of 14 tables. The variety of games offered is quite impressive, ranging from the popular 1/2 no limit Hold'em to the more traditional 2/4 and 4/8 fixed limit Hold'em. For those seeking a different challenge, they also have a 3/6 Omaha Hi/Lo game available. To add to the excitement, the poker room hosts two exhilarating daily tournaments that are sure to keep players on their toes.

Dining

The Oyster Bar at Santa Fe Station, bigger than the one at Palace Station, is a popular spot for seafood lovers. Specializing in steaks and seafood, The Charcoal Room is the exquisite dining choice at this establishment. Whether you're craving succulent steaks or fresh ocean delicacies, both options open their doors daily at 5pm, welcoming guests to indulge in a memorable culinary experience.

Cabo, a Mexican choice, presents itself as an option. The Feast Buffet serves meals all day long, catering to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meanwhile, the Grand Café operates ceaselessly, offering excellent late-night deals.

Next to the sportsbook, you will find The Sports Grill. In the food court, there are several dining options available, including Capriotti's, Fatburger, Starbucks, Panda Express, Village Pizza, and Wing Stop. Additionally, the bowling alley also features a snack bar for your convenience.

Hotel

Santa Fe Station boasts an impressive 200 hotel rooms, satisfying the requirements for obtaining an unrestricted gaming license in Clark County. The starting rates for these rooms are attractively priced at $45 per night on weekdays and $100 per night on weekends. Additionally, there is a nominal resort fee of $22 per night. Guests can choose between a cozy room with a king-sized bed or one equipped with two queen beds, providing flexibility and comfort for all types of travelers.
