Before you trust a recommendation, you should know how the site that makes it gets paid. This page explains how Bet NV is funded and what that funding does and does not change.

In short

Some of the sportsbooks and casinos on Bet NV pay us a commission when a reader follows one of our links and opens an account or makes a deposit. You do not pay anything extra, and the offer you get is the same one the operator would give you without our link. These commissions are what keep the site free to read.

Buttons and links to operators, including those marked Site or Bonus, usually pass through an address on our own domain beginning with /go/. That short stop lets the operator’s affiliate program recognise that the visit came from us. To make this work, our server sets the cookies mz_vid (a random visitor ID, kept for one year) and mz_src (the source of the visit, kept for 30 days) when a page loads, and the technical session cookies mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN, which expire after about 20 hours, when you click a /go/ link. The operator’s own site may set its own cookies after you arrive. More detail is in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

How we are paid

Payment can be a fixed amount for each new customer who deposits, a share of the revenue the operator earns from the players we refer, or a fee for an advertising placement. When a placement on a page is paid for, we say so.

What money cannot buy

A commission does not buy a score, a favourable review or the removal of criticism. We describe wagering requirements, withdrawal limits and weak points whether an operator pays us or not, and we stop recommending a site when we lose confidence in it, even if that costs us revenue.

How we decide the order of a list

The order of our lists comes from our editors’ assessment: licensing, payout speed and limits, how clear the promotion terms are, banking options, the quality of the app or website, customer service and responsible gambling tools. The size of a commission is not one of those criteria. When two operators are close, we explain in the text what separates them so you can choose by your own priorities.

Plenty of content earns nothing

Many of our pages earn nothing at all: guides to placing a bet at the window, reading an odds board and reporting winnings, poker room and casino hotel guides, show listings and the responsible gambling page. We also mention operators we have no agreement with. When we compare several sites, paying and non-paying operators are judged by the same criteria.

What you can do

If you would rather your visit was not credited to us, type the operator’s address into your browser instead of using our link. The offer and terms are the same.

Age and local law

Our content is for adults aged 21 and over. Check that an operator is licensed where you are before you sign up; a commercial link is not a statement that an operator is licensed in your state.

Why we tell you this

Advertising should be recognisable as advertising, and anyone reading a review has a right to know whether its author has a commercial relationship with the operator. The short notice in the footer of every page links here.
