California still has a few Treasure Chest Poker machines left at last check, as well as a couple of dozen other coin games. <\/p>\n\n\n\nScore with Four game is digital now<\/h3>\n\n\n\n Before the pandemic, video poker players that made a natural four of a kind received a scratch card worth a few dollars from a slot attendant. It is all electronic now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A player that makes four of a kind now has a board of 12 boxes that include four possible prizes. This displays on the players club touch pad. Once the player reveals three matches of the same amount, the bonus round ends and the amount is awarded. Players must use a BConnected card to qualify with five coins wagered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are new restrictions on these games. Some machines do not qualify. It seems like these excluded machines have a game on it with a 99% or better return. There is a disclosure on machines that do not offer this promotion, and a banner above the ones that do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Update<\/strong>: There are reports that the bar machines still have the four of a kind bonus. <\/p>\n\n\n\nThe rules say \u201cvalid on DEALT HAND\u201d but I do not know what that means. It may be that a player must be dealt quads to get a bonus round, but I think it probably means that if you are playing a multi hand game, only the bottom hand qualifies like what gaming taverns do with the card of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Video poker quality appears to be same as before<\/h3>\n\n\n\n Update<\/strong>: Players report that most of the games mentioned below were removed from the casino about one week after Main Street Station reopened. We have not had a chance to confirm this. Most of this section is likely inaccurate. We have not been able to visit again for details. <\/p>\n\n\n\nThere is no difference in the video poker quality from before the closure that I could find. The bar still has 9\/6 Jacks or Better and 9\/7 Double Bonus Poker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 10\/7 Double Bonus Poker machines go up to the $1 denomination. These machines are between the bar and valet entrance. The rest of the floor still has the typical 99% selection like 16\/10 Deuces Wild, 9\/6 Jacks, 8\/5 Bonus, 9\/7 Double Bonus and 9\/6 Double Double Bonus, including some on multi hand machines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Main Street Station dining changes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n Both Main Street Station restaurants have limited hours. Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery is open 5pm to midnight Thursday through Monday. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Garden Court Buffet is open daily from 8am to 2pm for brunch for $18.99. Dinner is only available on Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 9pm. It is $25.99.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Main Street Station reopened on September 8, 2021.
