The news was first reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/billvan1971\/status\/1409954039303872512\">Bill Boudreau on Twitter<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Planet Hollywood poker room struggled to attract players. It ranked 11th in cash game action out of the 17 rooms covered by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twoplustwo.com\/magazine\/issue197\/bryan-clark-las-vegas-poker-spring-2021.php\">Two Plus Two Spring Las Vegas Poker Survey<\/a>. It was 13th out of 17 rooms in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twoplustwo.com\/magazine\/issue194\/bryan-clark-las-vegas-poker-winter-2021.php\">winter survey<\/a>. The poker room was moved earlier in June to an area behind the craps pit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Planet Hollywood\u2019s Bravo Poker page had not been updated since the news broke at the time this article was published. The poker room hours are listed as 10am Thursday to 10am Monday. It is closed from 10am Monday to 10am Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main Planet Hollywood poker room game is 1\/2 no limit Texas Hold\u2019em. There are three no limit Texas Hold\u2019em tournaments on days when the poker room is open, according to its Bravo Poker page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Las Vegas lost 38 poker rooms since 2012<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There have been 38 Las Vegas poker room closures since I started tracking that data in 2012. Several poker rooms on the closed lists above opened during that period, only to operate for a short time and close. Plaza, Aliante, Ellis Island and Tropicana fall into that category.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only Resorts World, Sahara and Westgate opened poker rooms in Las Vegas since 2012 that are still active today. <a href=\"https:\/\/vegasadvantage.com\/resorts-world-casino-guide\/\">Resorts World opened<\/a> last week.
