Sahara is at the far north end of the Las Vegas Strip. It is at the end of the line of the Las Vegas Monorail. The Sahara brand has been in use on the property for most of the last 70 years. It closed for a few years in 2011 and became SLS Las Vegas, only to rebrand back to Sahara in 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sahara is smaller than most Las Vegas Strip casinos. Its casino floor is about 50,000 square feet. There are lounges, restaurants, a 1600-room hotel, and entertainment options like a pool and showroom on the property. Parking is free at Sahara. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are about 600 slot machines at Sahara. Denominations start at a penny and go up to $25. Some of these machines are video poker and electronic table games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best video poker at Sahara is in the $1 denomination. It includes 8\/5 Bonus Poker, 9\/7 Double Bonus, and 9\/6 Double Double Bonus. These games are all around or just above 99%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live table games include baccarat, blackjack, crapless craps, craps, Dealer Open Pai Gow Poker<\/a>, 3 Card Blitz<\/a>, Jackpot Hold’em, roulette, and Three Card Poker. Sahara is the only Las Vegas casino with 3 Card Blitz and Jackpot Hold’em. Minimum bets tend to start at $10 or $15. High limit games begin at $50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Sahara blackjack pays 6\/5. This includes Free Bonus and standard games. There are a few 3\/2 tables on the casino floor that are only open during busier hours. In high limit, there is a $50 game that stands on soft 17. Players may double down before and after splitting, surrender, and re-split aces up to four hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two types of roulette at Sahara. Double and triple zero are available. Craps is up to 3-4-5 times odds. Crapless craps is all five times max odds. The field pays double on 12 at both games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Channing Tatum, star of the popular movie “Magic Mike,” created Magic Mike Live – Las Vegas<\/a> due to the overwhelming success of the franchise. The show features alluring choreography and thrives off of audience reactions. Throughout the performance, the men sing, play guitar, dance the salsa, and perform aerial spins. One audience member has the chance to sit on one of the dancer’s laps while he plays a drum set that descends from the ceiling. Shows are at 7:30pm and 10pm Wednesday through Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
