Treasure Island opened on October 26, 1993. It was developed by Steve Wynn. It was eventually acquired by the company that is now MGM Resorts. During the Great Recession, MGM Resorts sold the property to Phil Ruffin, who also owns Circus Circus<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treasure Island is just north of the center of the Strip. A tram connects it and Mirage<\/a>. Parking is free at Treasure Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no poker room at Treasure Island. It closed in August 2018<\/a>. The closest poker rooms are at Venetian<\/a> and Wynn<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are almost 3000 hotel rooms at Treasure Island. There are multiple bars with video poker, over 1000 slot machines, 42 table games, and two stadium devices. Treasure Island has an independent Las Vegas sportsbook<\/a>. However, it does not have a mobile sports betting app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 42 table games at Treasure Island. It has a basic selection that includes baccarat, blackjack, craps, roulette, Let it Ride<\/a>, pai gow poker, Three Card Poker<\/a>, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The minimum bet starts at $10 for most games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two stadium machines at Treasure Island. The available games are baccarat, blackjack, craps, double zero roulette, and Three Card Poker. Treasure Island is the only Las Vegas casino with video Three Card Poker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live craps has 3-4-5 times odds. The field pays triple. Stadium craps starts at only $3 and offers double odds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All three types of roulette are dealt at Treasure Island. The main version is double zero. During busier hours, there is European Roulette and triple zero. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treasure Island offers the best value for blackjack on the Las Vegas Strip. Its 3\/2 stadium game starts at $1. Live 3\/2 blackjack tables are as low as $10 during slow hours. Double-deck blackjack<\/a> allows double down before and after splitting. Six-deck games adds surrender and re-split aces. All these tables pay 3\/2. The only 6\/5 blackjack at Treasure Island is at the single deck tables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blackjack on the casino floor hits soft 17. Salon blackjack stands on soft 17. That room is only open during busier hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entertainment at Treasure Island<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first Cirque du Soleil production in Vegas, Myst\u00e8re by Cirque du Soleil<\/a>, has an international cast of 67 artists. Family-friendly, Myst\u00e8re embraces all the signature Cirque du Soleil elements that have made this show one of the must-see productions on the Las Vegas Strip. Two shows run nightly Friday through Tuesday at 7pm and 9:30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marvel Avengers STATION Interactive Exhibit<\/a> is the Strip\u2019s newest superhero attraction. The hands-on attraction gives guests plenty of photo ops and insight into the Tactical Intelligence Operative Network. Explore Bruce Banner\u2019s lab, see Captain America\u2019s uniform and shield, and get a closer look at the shape-shifting aliens from the Battle of New York, the Chitauri. Try to pick up Thor’s hammer and prove you’re a hero, not a villain. The exhibit is open daily from 11am until 5pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 10<\/a> at 9pm, Colin Quinn will be performing inside the Treasure Island Theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On select nights, there is live entertainment at Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ. There is no cover charge for most performances. However, some performances have a $10 cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
