The D is one of three downtown Las Vegas casinos owned by the Derek Stevens family. It is on the Fremont Street Experience<\/a> towards the east end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two stories of casino gambling at The D. The top level is accessible via escalators inside and from Fremont Street Experience. It is a retro casino with two bars, a Circa sportsbook<\/a>, and a keno lounge. It is home to the last Sigma Derby machine in a casino. High limit slots are upstairs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first floor of The D is home to table games<\/a> and Longbar. The hotel front desk and One Club players center are also downstairs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are over 900 slot machines at The D. It is home to 23 table games. Four are in its high limit salon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The D casino<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Most of the machines at The D are slots, including penny ones and reels. There are a handful of video poker banks on both floors of the casino. There are electronic table games<\/a> at the top and bottom of the indoor escalators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best video poker game at The D is upstairs at the Vue Bar. It is 8\/5 Bonus Poker with three progressives. Sigma Derby is a classic horse racing simulation. The D is the only casino in the world with a machine of it. Sigma Derby operates on coins. There are no bill acceptors. There is a quarter machine that gives change for bills nearby. Coin cups are provided for withdrawals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The D uses One Club. It shares the slot program with Circa<\/a> and Golden Gate<\/a>. Slot players receive points worth 0.2% in free play and comps. Video poker players get 0.1%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The D blackjack rules<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are four types of blackjack games dealt by The D<\/a>. Free Bet Blackjack<\/a> with a 3\/2 payout is available at The D. The casino floor also has eight-deck blackjack. High limit has a double-deck<\/a> and six-deck blackjack<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All blackjack at The D has the same rules. Blackjack pays 3\/2. Double down before and after splitting is allowed. The dealer hist soft 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entertainment at The D<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The D showroom closed in 2019. Two of the shows are now at the Orleans. Adam London Laughternoon<\/a> is a family-friendly comedy magic show, Thursdays through Sundays at 4pm. Marriage Can Be Murder<\/a> is an interactive dinner show at 7pm Thursday through Tuesday. The showroom was in the back of the second floor of the casino. Bar Canada and the Circa Sportsbook are in this space today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While there are no live entertainment options on the property, multiple activities and a few shows are available downtown. Some activities are free, such as concerts and the Viva Vision light shows on Fremont Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neonopolis – 450 E Fremont Street<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the intersection of East Fremont and Las Vegas Boulevard, Neonopolis offers multiple entertainment venues. Open seven days a week, Axehole Vegas<\/a> is an indoor axe-throwing spot available from 10am to midnight. Hourly sessions allow guests to test out a selection of weaponry, including spears, ninja stars, metal throwing cards, shovels, and of course, the classic axe. To let out a little more steam, they even have a smash room where you get 15 minutes to demolish everything around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seven showrooms inside the Notoriety Theater in Downtown Las Vegas host comedy shows and a number of other performances. Shows typically last between 75 to 90 minutes. Doors open 30 minutes prior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
