We collected the following information in the summer of 2023. The minimum bets shown are what we predict are the lowest you will find, often in the mornings and afternoons. Expect higher minimums during busy times, especially for the 6:5 blackjack tables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best off-Strip blackjack<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The best off-Strip blackjack game is a three-way tie between M Resort, Palace Station, and Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels, formerly the Hard Rock Casino. All three casinos deal six-deck games in their high-limit salons that allow a double-down before and after splitting, surrender, and re-splitting aces. The dealer stands on all 17’s. The game is available at M Resort for $50 and for $100 at the other two properties.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second place game is dealt at Rio. The game also uses six decks and stand on all 17\u2019s. Players may double down before and after splitting. Surrender is available, but not re-splitting aces. The minimum bet is usually $100. <\/span>This game is only available upon request. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohegan Sun also has a six-deck blackjack game with the dealer hitting soft 17 for $15. Players may double down before and after splitting. Surrender and re-split aces are also available. <\/span>Several off-Strip casinos have 3:2 double deck with double down before and after splitting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las Vegas off-Strip blackjack by casino<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ellis Island<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ellis Island deals double-deck and six-deck blackjack. It pays 3:2 and the dealer hits a soft 17. The minimum bet is $5 at one table and usually $10 at the others. Players may re-split aces and double down before and after splitting.<\/span> The $5 table uses a continuous shuffling machine. The $10 games are dealt out of a shoe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The double-deck blackjack game reappeared at Ellis Island in 2023. It is dealt out of a shoe. Double down before and after splitting is allowed. The minimum bet is $25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gold Coast<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Gold Coast has two blackjack games: a double-deck game and a six-deck one. Both allow players to double down both before and after splitting. Blackjack pays 3:2. The minimum bet at these tables is $15.<\/span> Stadium blackjack disappeared from Gold Coast in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

M Resort<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are six blackjack games to choose from at M Resort. Most pay 3:2. However, there is a $5 or $10 six-deck game that pays 6:5. It allows doubling down before and after splitting. There is 3:2 six-deck blackjack, at<\/span> $15, and this table allows a double-down before and after splitting, plus re-splitting. This game hits soft 17. A $50 version of this game stands on all 17\u2019s and adds surrender. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

There is also $10 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack. Double-deck starts at $15 with a double-down available both before and after splitting. The $50 double-deck game in high limit adds re-split aces. Both double-deck games hit soft 17. Note the change in the high-limit version, which was downgraded in 2020. There is 6:5 video blackjack starting at $3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohegan Sun\/Virgin<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are four types of blackjack games being dealt at the Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels. All these games pay 3:2. For $10, there is a six-deck game. This table allows a double-down before and after splitting, plus re-splitting and surrender. A $100 version of this game stands on all 17s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Double-deck starts at $25. This game allows doubling down before and after splitting. The dealer hits a soft 17. Spanish 21 is no longer dealt at Mohegan Sun. However, Free Bet Blackjack with a 3:2 payout is available for a $15 minimum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orleans<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The only blackjack game at The Orleans is double-deck that pays 3:2 and allows doubling down before and after splitting. The minimum bet is $15. Free Bet Blackjack is no longer dealt by The Orleans. <\/span>Video blackjack pays 3:2 and starts at $3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oyo<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Oyo has three types of blackjack games. The $1 game pays even money on blackjack and allows a double-down before and after splitting. The $5 tables increase the blackjack payout to 6:5. The $10 table pays 3:2. The dealer hits soft 17 on all tables. <\/span>There is $3 6:5 video blackjack at Oyo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palace Station<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are five types of blackjack at Palace Station. Most tables on the casino floor have a $10 or $15 minimum bet. Options include 6:5 Free Bet<\/span> Blackjack and 3:2 shoe (six- or eight-deck) blackjack. Double-deck blackjack pays 3:2 and starts at $15. These games allow doubling down both before and after splitting. All hit soft 17.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the high-limit area, there is a double-deck game for $100 that allows a double-down before and after splitting, plus players can re-split aces. That game also hits soft 17. Also for a $100 minimum, Palace Station offers a stand-on-all 17 six-deck game. This game allows surrender, re-splitting aces, and doubling down both before and after splitting. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Palms reopened on April 27, 2022. There are six types of blackjack. For $15, there is double-deck, six-deck, Free Bonus, and Free Bet. All pay 3:2, except Free Bonus and Free Bet Blackjack, which pay 6:5. All games allow a double-down before and after splitting. The six-deck game on the casino floor also allows surrender. Video blackjack pays 6:5 and starts at $5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

High limit double- and six-deck tables have a $100 minimum. The six-deck version allows a double-down before and after splitting, surrender and re-split aces. <\/span>Casino floor games hit soft 17, while the high limit games stand on soft 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rio deals five different blackjack games, including $10 6:5 eight-deck tables. For $15, Free Bet Blackjack also pays 6:5. The double-deck on the floor pays 6:5 and starts at $25; here, players can double down before but not after splitting. These games all hit a soft 17.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To find a 3:2 game, players have to visit the Rio high limit area, which has limited availability. These games start at $100. There is double-deck that allows a double-down both before and after splitting. It hits a soft 17. The six-deck game stands on all 17\u2019s. Surrender and doubling down are also available. <\/span>Rio has video 6:5 blackjack for $3 on a new stadium device. This is near the sportsbook bar. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Silverton<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Silverton has 6:5 single-deck blackjack with a $10 minimum. All other Silverton blackjack tables pay 3:2. These games are $25 double-deck and $10 six-deck blackjack. Both games allow doubling down before and after splitting, plus the option to re-split aces. There is also a 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack game which has a $15 minimum bet. <\/span>There is $3 6:5 video blackjack at Silverton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Point<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

South Point is one of the few major tourist casinos in Las Vegas that still deals $5 3:2 blackjack. This game uses six decks. There is a $10 double-deck table with similar rules. Both games hit soft 17 and allow a double-down both before and after splitting. <\/span>There is $3 3:2 blackjack that stands on all 17s on Casino Wizard machines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Westgate<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are four blackjack games at Westgate. For $15, players can choose 6:5 single-deck or a six- or eight-deck shoe. Players may double-down before, but not after splitting in the single-deck game. The six-deck allows for a double-down before and after splitting.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It takes a $25 minimum bet to get a 3:2 game, and this game allows a double-down before and after splitting, and re-splitting aces. The $50 double-deck table allows a double-down before and after splitting. The dealer hits on soft 17 at all Westgate blackjack tables. <\/span>Video blackjack pays 6:5 and has a $3 minimum bet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuscany removed all their live table games. The table game pit has been replaced by an electronic table game stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                      Free Bet Blackjack 3:2<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

                                                      Free Bet Blackjack is by far the most popular blackjack variant in Las Vegas. The house edge on the 3:2 game is about 1%. It is about 2.4% at 6:5 games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                      The player gets a free double down on 9, 10 and 11. Pairs that do not have a value of 10 may be split for free. To offset this, the dealer pushes on 22. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
