The Sahara<\/a> poker room reopened on June 18, 2020. It offers seven tables. It is located between the casino cage and Northside Caf\u00e9. This was the high-limit salon when it was SLS Las Vegas. The poker room opened in early 2020, weeks before the COVID-19 shutdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sahara poker room is open noon to 4am daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poker room at Sahara is home to no-limit hold\u2019em, pot-limit Omaha, and mixed games. There are nine seats per table. Our Sahara poker room review has all the details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sahara poker cash games<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main cash game at Sahara is 1\/2 no limit Texas hold\u2019em. The buy-in is $100 to $400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At busier times, there may be a 2\/3 no limit hold\u2019em or a pot limit Omaha game running. A 2\/3 no limit game appears on Wednesday nights. It has a minimum buy-in of $600 with no cap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sahara poker room will spread nearly any game if there are enough players. This includes all limits and structures of Texas hold \u2018em, Omaha, Omaha hi, Omaha hi\/lo, Big O, dramaha, 2-7 Lowball, A-5 Lowball, seven card stud, seven card stud hi\/lo, razz, badugi, badacey, baduci, and archie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sahara poker tournaments<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is a $60 no-limit Texas hold\u2019em tournament at 12pm Monday through Friday and 8:30pm Monday through Thursday. This tournament has $20 rebuys and add-ons. Players may register late or re-buy within the first two hours.  <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a no-limit crazy pineapple tournament daily at 4pm. <\/span>The buy-in is $60 Monday through Thursday and $75 Friday through Sunday. There is a $75 no limit hold’em tournament at 8:30pm Friday and Sunday. The buy-in changes to $60 for the 8:30pm tournament Monday through Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 12pm tournament becomes a $75 buy-in on Saturdays and Sundays. The 8:30pm tournament becomes $100 on Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chip stack in all $60 tournaments is 10,000. It is 15,000 for the $75 weekend tournaments. There is a $10 staff add-on that doubles the starting stack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sahara poker room promotions<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Players who clock in with the PokerAtlas app<\/a> receive $2 an hour in comps at cash games. These may be used at any restaurant on the property. Otherwise, there are no other promotions, as the Sahara poker room stopped taking a jackpot drop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Environment<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Sahara poker room opened in 2020. It offers comfortable seating and tables. There is a wall of televisions. During normal times, food may be ordered from Northside Caf\u00e9 and eaten at the poker table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to the poker room is simple. It is easy to get a great parking space most days. The poker room is near the parking garage entrance on the casino floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poker room staff listens to player concerns and suggestions. It is a welcoming environment for all players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
